What is SonoMax
SonoMax is a free online resource where you can find or discard of items. It demonstrates the idea that one person's trash is another's treasure. Simply log onto the SonoMax web site and create a wanted or available listing. You can find everything from packaging peanuts, plastic buckets to pallets.
Who can list with SonoMax Any Sonoma County business, nonprofit group, government agency or individual can list materials they have available or would like to acquire. Simply place an ad by using this web site.
What can I list with SonoMax
Anything you would otherwise discard can be listed in SonoMax as long as it is not a hazardous waste.
Information provided in SonoMax is supplied by the listing party. The Sonoma County Waste Management Agency does not vouch for the capabilities, trustworthiness, or performance of any individual or institution listed here, nor is it responsible for determination of what may constitute or create a hazardous situation or substance.
How the listings work:
Place an ad. There will be some delay before the listing becomes active, as the content of the ad needs to be approved by the SonoMax administrator.
After placing an ad, you will be contacted by interested parties directly. All arrangements are worked out between you and the interested parties.
Manage listings in MySonoMax From any page on the web site, choose the MySonoMax tab. There you can view your current ads, pending exchanges and expired ads.
Update your listings by responding to our email. When you place an ad, it will be active for 30 days. Shortly thereafter, you will be emailed a short survey form to update your listing.
How do I remove a posted item?
If you want to remove an ad prior to the automatically assigned expiration date, please do the following:
Step1: Login to the SonoMax web site.
Step2: Go to the MySonoMax tab. Step 3: Delete the listing under the Current ads tab using the Modify/delete link.
